Beginning his advertising career back in 2003, Chris has had the opportunity to work as an art director, copywriter and creative director on some of the world’s biggest brands in Australia and throughout Asia. At the start of 2020 he jumped ship from agency side to client side and joined AGL’s brand team.

Throughout his career, Chris has worked on many diverse projects and clients. It has seen him develop a condition for problem gamblers, helping them to self-identify, launch a TV show viewed by over 3 million people, use repetition priming and social media to sell women’s clothing and convince thousands of people to colour in frames of a short film. Beyond the different advertising projects Chris has worked on, he is also the deputy chair of the AGL’s Indigenous Engagement Network and sits on their LGBTQ+ advisory board.

Chris’ work has been recognised at both local and international award shows including the Effies, New York Festivals, LIA, Spikes, Adfest, Facebook and Communication Arts amongst others. In 2017 his work was showcased at the Sundance Film Festival as part of their branded storytelling event and in 2022 he was nominated for the Changemaker Award at the Equality Alliance Awards.

In addition to Chris’ advertising work, he recently completed his graduate diploma in Psychology from Melbourne Uni, launched myshout.me, a company that allows you to shout your friends a beer from anywhere in Australia and is a volunteer research assistant at the Murdoch Children’s Research Institute. He has tutored junior creatives through the AWARD School program, mentoring three different winners and has written articles for Digiday and AdNews. He also likes to keep fit so he can captain the Diamond Valley Masters AFL team to another premiership.
